If you want to make some Vircon32 games, you may need assets. Over the years I have made or commissioned a lot of assets for my own games, and I have made them free to use. So keep reading below if you want to use some of them in your projects.
While you could already find my game assets along the source code in GitHub, it is much easier to find what you need in a single place. So I have also been publishing the assets at OpenGameArt. Check out my asset collection there!
As you can see here my asset gallery has multiple pages, so be sure to check them all!
Please read the licensing and info for each of the assets you want to use. Still, as a general rule, all of my art is available under license CC-BY 4.0. In summary, this means that you can use the asset in both commercial and non-commercial projects. You are only required to give the appropriate to me.
As a small sample of what you can find in my asset collection I will show a couple of examples here. This below comes from a tileset I made for One Skill.
This is a small graphics pack for a breakout type game, with some animations. I made this for the Bricks demo.
Finally, this is a collection of gamepad, buttons and d-pad direction symbols that has some new elements created solely for the OpenGameArt submission.
